April Open Arts Social

Come join us for a night of community and creativity! Work on your current project or start a new one, while socializing with other artists. Bring your own supplies and snacks, and don’t forget to invite your friends!

The Open Arts Social will be a monthly gathering that isn’t limited to visual arts–feel free to bring your fabric arts, music, jewelry making and any other craft projects.

Location: 1533 NE 145th St (In the qfc shopping center)

This is an all-ages, dry event.

Accessibility notes: the gallery is on a first floor, a curb-step up from the parking lot. The current public space floorplan is open and maneuverable, and the lights are full-spectrum florescent. There are a variety of seating options, including padded seating & seats with back support. There is one restroom (that is slightly too narrow for full wheelchair access) with a grab bar.

Please be conscientious with fragrance and scent.

**POSTPONED** March Open Arts Social

Due to community guidelines in the King County area to help prevent the spread of CORONA 19 virus this months social is currently postponed. At this time the events staff is looking into ways to hold this gathering virtually to continue building the community and supporting local artist. Please follow our Facebook, Instragram, and/or Twitter for updated on this and other events.

Artist Meetup: Sunday Afternoon Hangout and Create

Join us every Sunday at Tidal Artist Haven for an relaxing afternoon of creating art, crafts and generally just hanging out. This informal meetup is free to attend and welcoming to all skill levels, all ages, most artist mediums and any crafts*—bring whatever project you want to work on! Need art supplies? We have plenty to share. We provide tables, chairs and several easels for people to use. Need to spread out? We have the space. You’re welcome to bring food or non-alcoholic drinks, but not required.

TAH member Ryan Jack Allred will be available to offer any help or critiques.

*We ask artists refrain from using any mediums with harmful or strong fumes. Please limit subject matter to images appropriate for an all-ages gathering.

This month we will be sharing the space with a puppetry class but there’s plenty of room for everyone.
